Dominic qualified as a solicitor in the City of London in 1989.  He began sitting as an arbitrator when he was the Head of International Arbitration in the London and Paris offices of Mayer Brown. He formed Spenser Underhill Newmark LLP in 2007. He sits as an arbitrator full time.

His practice covers all the usual industry sectors. He has particular expertise and experience in international banking, the finance sector and project finance. For example, he is a Panel Arbitrator for Financial Services Disputes for the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. www.hkiac.org

Dominic is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.  He is an Honorary Professor, School of Law, Queen Mary, University of London. He is a former Visiting Professor in international arbitration at the University of Turin.
